Nobel prize is prestige international awards. It has several categories which include literature, peace, physics, chemistry, and physiology or medicine. 2. Aung San Suu Kyi
Just like Mother Teresa, Aung San Suu Kyi also won the Nobel peace category in 1991. She won the Nobel due to her effort in defending the government. She campaigned for democracy and human rights at that time. As a daughter of Aung San, the legendary liberation movement leader, she was successfully mobilizing world opinion to support what she struggled for.
3. Olga Tokarczuk
If you are a book lover or falling in love with imagination through words, then you should read Olga’s creations. She won the Nobel due to her achievement in literature. In 2018, she was awarded for her narrative imagination which invited some controversy. But, finally, this prize was given to her.
4. Donna Strickland
The science world got a new woman with Nobel in 2018. Donna Strickland was prized due to her achievement in physic. Her works were the inventions in laser physic and ultra-short optical pulses. She pursued this prize at the University of Rochester where she got doctoral studies at the same time.
5. May-Britt Moser
Thanks to this woman who brought study about cells in the brain. Due to this work, she didn’t only get the Nobel prize, but also a big contribution to human and animal research.
