Osun 2018: Collection Of PVC Continues Until 14 Sept – INEC

Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), has said that the collection of Permanent Voters Card (PVC), continue till Friday 14 September, 2018.

This was revealed during a one day forum for social media influencers ahead Osun state governorship electtion.

The Deputy Director of Publicity of the commission, Aliu Bello affirmed that people can still be collecting their PVC until 3PM on the closing date.

While attending to questions from bloggers, he described social media as essential in the society and also used as a platform some people to disseminate fake news.

The commission educated bloggers on how to report elections process, and provided them needful information on Pre-election, on Election and post-election process of collating results of election.

INEC urged bloggers and all social media influencers to strictly follow the law has it is forbidden to publish election results before INEC.

“It is also forbidden to take phone to the polling boot, INEC forbid this to curtail vote buying in coming Osun poll”. according to Aliu.
