Plots to Dump PDP, Senator Akpabio Resigns as Minority Leader

A former Governor of Akwa -Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio, has resigned his position as the Minority Leader of the Senate.

Akpabio, who is representing Akwa-Ibom North-West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, addressed the letter to the Deputy Senate Minority Leader, Emmanuel Bwacha of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The senator took to his social handle to announce his resignation on Tuesday.

NIGERIA HAPPENINGS can report that, Akpabio had meet with APC Leader, Bola Tinubu, in Abuja on Monday.
Both Men are in consultation a day after the PDP Senator met with President Buhari in London ahead of his planned defection to the APC.
