The Osun state Police command, on Thursday paraded before journalists Dauda Amusa, and his friend, Kabiru Dudupariola, for killing a businessman, Sanusi Isiaka, 42, near Slava Construction Company along Iwo Road, Osogbo.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Fimihan Adeoye, told the newsmen that the duo suspect was arrested on December 28, 2018 at about 4PM at Ifon-Osun, in the case he described as conspiracy and murder of Sanusi on May 14, 2017 and took his head away and left his body in the bush.

Fimihan said Isiaka had supplied 500 bags of rice to one Yekini Ayinde popularly known as Abija, who he said didn’t want to pay for the goods after selling them.

The suspects alleged that Abija, gave the two and others who are at large the contract to kill the rice seller and paid them the sum of N200,000 for the assignment.

While speaking with newsmen, the prime suspect, Amusa, 36, an indigene of Offa, Kwara State, said, “Abija told me he has a deal for me that would fetch me huge money. He told me that he has a court case with someone and that Isiaka would testify against him in court and that he would be jailed. He said I should help him kill Isiaka.

“I know I cannot do it alone. I asked Kabiru if he know how to kill human being and said he can do it with gun. So I told him to join me for the job. We had Drugged before we moved to Oke-fia in Osogbo where we connected with Isiaka and others. Abija deceived Isiaka that he needed to meet some new customers and that we would all need go to Iwo to perfect the business and would return to Osogbo the following day.

“When we got to the bush, Abija told the driver to stop and he gave us a sign. We quickly overpowered Isiaka and tied him with a rope.

Kabiru wanted to kill him with his gun, but the trigger could not release. So we quickly decided to use a knife to cut his throat. After killing him, I remembered that I needed a human head for money ritual and I quickly removed Isiaka’s head.”

“We shared the money N65,000 per head but I was given N70,000. The additional N5000 was to refresh ourselves with alcoholic drink the second day, because I’m a beer seller.”

“I was roasting the head and preparing other items needed for the ritual when some policemen came. I managed to escape that day. I ran away from Ifon but they eventually apprehended me on December 28, 2018,” Amusa stated.
“The way killed the rice dealer was brutal, we did it because we took Koko (drug).”

In his own story, Kabiru said he was not himself until the third day saying he hasn’t partaking in killing before.
Police Commissioner, Fimihan said detectives were still on the trail of Abija.
